• Addresses the threats to peace and sustainable development in the Pacific region by fostering good governance in a manner which resonates with Pacific cultures and which serves the needs of Pacific peoples.

NGO Capacity-Building

• Building the capacity of over 30 local NGOs and non-state actors, increasing their readiness to fully participate in community development projects in the health, environment, education and youth development sectors.

• A range of projects that address the issues of reproductive health, family planning and HIV/AIDS, non-communicable diseases, preventative measure to reduce youth violence linked to mental health, and the promotion of youth life skills.

• Demonstration garden nursery and its replication in schools and communities

• Organic and inorganic household waste recycling

• The promotion of compost toilets

• The restoration of coral reefs and rural livelihoods

• The sustainable management of the aquarium reef trade

• Conservation and biodiversity initiatives

• Measure to combat climate change and the rise in sea level

• Using the broadcasting power of radio to promote community development issues in Tarawa and the Outer Islands.
