Good Governance:
- This important project is about promoting civil society in democratic processes through the strengthening of area councils and other provincial institutions both formal and informal. It also aims at linking people with policy at the national level. The Good Governance project is currently implemented in Tanna, Luganville, Paama and Efate.
Coastal Program:
- This project is working with coastal communities around the Northern part of Efate Island and the islands of Malekula and Aneityum to stimulate wise management of natural resources, support national capacity building and facilitate national networking and collaboration. The project is jointly implemented with the Vanuatu Fisheries Department and Wan Smolbag Theatre.
Youth Mental Health:
- The project aims to improve coping capacity and awareness on mental health problems and to create supporting environment for youths, community members and stakeholders. The project is implemented in four rural villages in Efate Island and five sites inside Port Vila urban area.
Port Vila Youth Drop in Centre:
- The project aims to promote better healthy decisions in adolescent reproductive health, awareness on STI, HIV/AIDS and family planning and to build youth capacity through life skills training.
Youth Cultural and Creative Opportunities:
- This new initiative commencing in 2009 has the following objectives: (1) improve information access for young people, (2) provide education and awareness for young people on issue affecting them, (3) increase quality of information, policy and legislation and support network of service providers in mental health to better meet and understand the gender specific needs of at risk youth, (4) increase creative, economic and livelihood opportunities for young people, (5) Promote Vanuatu music and cultural performance groups and productions nationally and internationally. The initiative is implemented in 5 sites located in 5 different islands of Vanuatu. FSP Vanuatu’s main implementing partner in this project is Fest Napuan, a local NGO.
Coping Communities Vulnerability Reduction (CCVR):
- This project aims to increase the resilience of communities in Vanuatu by reducing the impacts of a disaster through promotion of risk reduction measures into community development
