Network Partner HIV Strategy and Capacity Development
This programme area will work with FSPI and network partners to develop their capacity to be responsive to sexual and reproductive health issues, gender sensitivity and HIV/AIDS across workplace, organizational and community settings. This will involve designing workplace HIV strategies and providing training to the network and their communities where possible, in HIV, gender sensitization and stigma and discrimination. Strategies will aim to implement tangible HIV responsive outcomes such as ensuring network partners and programs operate as condom distribution points, provide communities with access to information and awareness materials, promote and respond the communities effectively and where possible ensure the inclusion of positive people and groups in order to ensure an HIV sensitized workplace.
Work has begun with our Solomon Islands partner, SIDT, with the aim of Fiji and Tonga also joining the process this year where the aim is to have 3 strategies produced in the first year of work.
